barebones communication

… a blog on communication

planning

Barebones communication planning is not that different from any other planning you do when your venture e.g. on a marketing communication activity. But is is more extensive, since you add an element of barebones controls, as well. Consequently you dig a bit deeper to secure a better result of you efforts. And your money.

In your planning process you do your strategies, tactics, target groups, exposure planning (cloice of media), etcetera, but you also add a more specific “communication evaluation”, that take you a bit further into the communications process, let’s say in routines of selecting an agency or creative group to work with.

Things to look for, and tools to use when evaluating creative drafts, e.g. from an agency, are primarely to be found in the barebones toolbox, or more generally in the blog posts. Use the tag cloud to navigate your way around on the blog, but please remember that the blog is still in the making, so at the moment you will, obviously, not find the things that you need for a proper barebones communication runover.

I will be back with more on this at a later stage, as the blog grows.
